The first ever Five Guys Burger and Fries restaurant on Irish soil held it’s much anticipated opening today in Belfast. Huge queues waiting outside the restaurant from 11am, as consumers were keen the sample the Irish edition of the highly rated burgers and fries at the first opportunity.
Five Guys, a hugely popular US fast food chain, opened their first Irish restaurant in Belfast’s Victoria Square Shopping Centre, Belfast Live reports.
Five Guys is known for its fresh, made to order burgers which come with a vast choice of toppings, customisable at no extra charge, and for its fries, which are cooked in 100% peanut oil.
The Murrell family and their team have ensured that every Five Guys restaurant, from the food to the layout, is consistent around the world. Store Manager, Nelson Shanks, and his team of five assistant managers, spent a month in the States training and experiencing the Five Guys culture and six Five Guys trainers have been flown over to teach the new Belfast Five Guys Crew all they need to know.
