As 2018 draws to a close, now is a great time to take a step back and reflect on the year. 2018 has been a busy year for Big Al’s, with various product, concept and campaign launches, a number of concept installs and menu builds and presence at trade shows across the country, its safe to say that this year has been a great success.
Exciting Launches
In 2018, Big Al’s added another delicious product to its thriving portfolio – the Sausage Patty, assisting operators in tapping into the ever growing breakfast and brunch trends and on-the-go markets. Made from fully cooked pork, flame grilled for great taste and seasoned with sage, nutmeg and pepper for a delicious authentic flavour, the Sausage Patty is ready to serve from frozen in under a minute. Following a flurry of sampling at the start of the year, operators couldn’t wait to stock the Sausage Patty and that demand is still yet to slow.
In addition to a new product, Big Al’s also launched a suite of branded food concepts – Big Al’s Mobile Carts and the Hot Dog Shack. Ideal for high-footfall and quick-serve locations, the Big Al’s Carts are an extension of the popular branded concept food kiosks Big Al’s is famous for. Big Al’s Hot Dog Shack was created to tap into the growing hot dog trend, offering Big Al’s Gourmet Hot Dogs in different delicious builds. These portable solutions allow operators to follow the footfall, reduce queue times and offer a flexible food selection, which is suited to an array of channels.
This year, Big Al’s also introduced the Branded Cart Brochure, a go-to source to discover the key features and benefits of Big Al’s range of branded carts. Big Al’s carts all have one goal in common – to support caterers in driving revenue and footfall while serving up trend led menu solutions that give customers a reason to return time and time again.
Big Al’s has also offered channel support, devising a Breakfast Matters campaign for the University sector during Fresher’s week and creating a suite of POS for publicans dedicated to the World Cup.
