Big Al’s Cooked Steak Chilli Con Carne is a really versatile product and allows you to offer an extended range of dishes to your customers.
It’s made from delicious Irish beef steak pieces cooked in a rich tomato sauce with sliced peppers and kidney beans, then finished with a warming spice kick. The generous ingredients together with the real steak pieces give every dish a real home-cooked appeal.
Big Al’s Chilli Con Carne allows you to create full mains – just serve with rice or pasta or add to a baked potato with sour cream. It also works perfectly as a topping for loaded fries, nachos and the ever-popular burritos.
Defrost 1 kg pack in a chill for 12 hours. Ensure product is fully thawed. Product is fully cooked.
FROM THAWED STATE: CONVENTIONAL OVEN
Pre-heat oven to 180C. Remove product from pack and place in a metal proof tray. Evenly disperse meat in tray. Cover the tray with aluminium foil and place in a pre-heated oven. Gently mix product every 10 minutes for even heating. Heat for 45 to 50 minutes. Check that core temperature has reached 75°C
