Big Al’s Takes Bronze In The Innovation Challenge Award At Lunch! 2017

Big Al’s is celebrating receiving an Innovation Challenge Award at Lunch! 2017, for all-new product – the Big Al’s Prime Burger. The prestigious Innovation Challenge takes place at the annual show and showcases the most innovative products in the food-to-go sector.

This year, 69 new and original products from across the show floor were presented in the Innovation Challenge Gallery, and visitors were given the chance to vote on the first day of the show. The top 15 products were invited to pitch on day two, to a panel of judges, consisting of industry experts and NPD specialists and following a successful presentation, Big Al’s received a bronze Innovation Challenge Award.

This year marked the 10th year of the Lunch! show in their new home at ExCel. At the biggest show to date, Big Al’s unveiled the Prime Burger, the first raw product in their portfolio and a new proposition for the QSR market, created to meet consumer desire for a more premium offer that delivers on taste and flavour experience. Visitors were invited to try the chuck and brisket 5oz patty on stand in delicious builds, with an assortment of condiments, cheeses, and salads.
